My current processor is the AMD with 2.0ghz but its dual core so I am not sure what that means. I have about 2gb ram and its still kind of slow. I saw a deal for a Pentium 4 3.2ghz for pretty cheap and was thinking if this will speed up my computer if i get it? The specs for the Pentium 4 is :

Is this better than my dual core or should I get Core 2 duo or leave it be?

for some reason i think i remembered my friends mom saying that some days eBay lets you put up auctions for free, am i right? or was i hallucinating?

One of my machines has both Windows XP and Ubuntu installed. I have Avast operating in my XP environment, but when I'm in Ubuntu, I don't see the little Avast icon.

Do I have to install Avast in the Ubuntu environment as well?

Will they conflict with each other?

I want to set up a webcam outside my house as a security camera, but I don't want to drill a hole through the wall for the USB cable to my computer. Besides, I don't think they make USB cables long enough to reach my computer.

Is there a gadget (in two parts) that I could plug my webcam into outside, and it would transmit to a receiver attached to my computer inside?

The above is the java file & txt file. It can read the file, but the output i want is:

Sex: Male
Name: Alex
Age: 30

Sex: Female
Name: Alice
Age: 20

If MR, MSTR will have sex = Male. If MRS, MDM, MS will have sex = Female.

Other than that, i also like to put the Male/Female into String sex, put the name into String name, and age into int age.

How i can do all of these?

I have a computer I'm trying to fix for a friend. I've tried to wipe the hard drive, format, reinstall, but the virus or viruses have stopped me at every attempt. I know there are viruses out there that will wipe your hard drive. I need one! I can't work in dos, and the virus restarts the computer when I do a scan (with Norton, Trend Micro, Adaware.... I've tried a load of different programs all make the computer restart). So I'm thinking I've got to fight the virus with a virus. Anyone know where I can find a virus that wipes my hard drive for me? I never thought I would ask that question!!!
