Is emailing someone at:

example@hotmail.it

...different from emailing someone at

example@hotmail.com ...?

Would those be different email adresses, or are they the same e-mail adress? Because I sent my friend an email at hotmail.it and she didn't get it. So I figured if I send it to example@hotmail.com, would she then recieve the email? What is the difference between .com and .it?

Thank you!

Well, Hotmail only has .COM, try to email her again with hotmail.com and ask her to reply you ASAP.

They are different.

.com is .com and .it is .it -- they're different top level domains.
