The easiest way is to pull the hard drive out of the old computer and put it in the new computer -- but if you're planning on continuing to use the old computer, just network to the two computers together and then you can copy them over at whatever speed your network is. Email if you need more details.

There are several ways you could do this. Probably the easiest way is to take all of the pictures you want from your old computer and zip them up in a zip file. Then, send an email to yourself with that zip file attached. Check your email account on your new computer, open the email, download the attachment, unzip the files, and - VOILA! You're good to go. Also, you could always burn them to a DVD and then save them to your new computer. Good luck.

There are a few things you can do that are relay simple.

If the hard drives are the same you can just switch your old hard dive into your new computer.

You can transfer you tunes ac cont via email.

You can save all your pics on a blank disk, or you could upload them to your email and send them to yourself.

or the easiest yet slightly expensive....Buy one of those double ended USB cords and plug it in to each computer and transfer files via USB.

Those should work.

Either hook them up to a router or get a usb flash drive and save them all on the flash drive and then onto the new computer. For the router, use the home or small office networking wizard and it should lead you through, its in the control panel.

Do you have an external drive, like a camera card...a MP3 player? Those show up as a extenal drive and you can store any kind of files on them as long as it will hold it. Not just music or pictures. And then plug it over to your new computer. :D
