Everytime i try a video it says, Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.SO i got the latest flash player but it still doesnt work. So it must be this javascript thing. How do i turn it on?

Ok, i did a scan from crucial.com and it said I have 512 MB of RAM, but whenever i do like "CCleaner" it says i have 447mb of RAM. Why do I have 447 MB instead of 512mb?

Well, I found this nice cheap computer that seems to me to have all the good innards (for the lack of a better word). I didnt recodnise the brand, couldnt even see one. Could you take a quick look at it and tell me if the Features and Specifications are good. Thankyou.

I am tired of Picasa coz it does not fulfill all my photo management needs even though i am using the latest version. Is there any better free alternative or Picasa is the best in its class ? Also, if freeware is not an option, is there a better choice photo management shareware ?

OK, i have a gateway that a 2.53 ghz p4 processor then i put a 3ghz p4 with the same fsb then i plugged my monitor into video card then turned on the computer everything ran fine except there was nothing on the monitor the monitor wasnt even sensing that the computer was on also there was 1 beep

I got a used hard drive. I'm gonna set it as a second / slave hard drive. on the hard drive, there are four different ways to set the jumper as a slave. They are "16 heads", "15 heads", "32GB clip", and "auto spin disablo". Which one should I pick or what difference are they? Thanks.

I was in the middle of writing a message, when suddenly the 'D' key on my keyboard became stuck. In an attempt to free it, I pressed with a little more force and the 'D' key popped out. Now, the letters 'D', along with the letters 'I', and 'N' no longer work!!! (I had to copy & paste those letters to compose this question). THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!! When i click on the icon, first the icon twitches a couple times than it shows that small box while loading that shows owner and stuff, but it opens for about 2 seconds and just closes with no warning. It does this repeatedly, scanned it with norton, its not spy ware, and i can't reinstall......one that gives the answer to fix gets the points.

I am looking for an operating system that allows me to do very basic computer functions without all the bells and whistles. I hate being suggested crap all the time, so I want a lean OS, one that uses very little of my processor. I want one that is good for the internet, and doesn't gum up the works.

I used to have Windows Me and I was annoyed to no end. Then I got XP, and I was happy with that for a while. I still have it and everything is all gummed up.

Whatever the problem is, I don't care because I am in the market to rebuild a new computer from scratch and I really don't like the Vista system because I understand that it uses up all your processor and memory power. Is MS coming out with a better one? Should I stick with XP?

Can anyone help please.......when I download my videos in the computer I then start to download it on a DVD, (disk) I made one DVD already. This time I did the same thing but it said that I have to free some space on my hard disk, I went to disk clean up and I deleted all my temporary files, but when I tried again to download my videos on my external DVD player, it keeps saying the same thing, what do I have to erase or delete so I can put my videos on a DVD (disk). I don't want to pay for any thing. I just want to clean off the computer so it would be just like i bought it. I don't want to use the system restore because that doesn't work. I don't have the vista CD to re format itand i do not want to buy one. There must be a solution to this... don't say there isn't. I just want a way. I want the computer to still have windows vista though... don't get me wrong. I can't access the internet with the laptop. And theres a poblem, it keeps says the internetexplorer is gone bad and restarts it and i can't go to my computer because it keeps restarting every 10 seconds, but it stays on! SAFE mode won't work because it the same thing...

I have Comcast right now, but I can't see myself paying $44 dollars a month for it after the $19.99 deal is up.

I'm thinking of going with At&t and doing the free wireless package. But after using Comcast, is it going to seem really slow? Is there a package that's fast enough? What about downloading?

i got a movie at 2gb, and i opened it and it has these files mvs-simpss.part01 and those rar files goes all the way down to 62, and when i try to extract, it says the archive is unknown or demaged, but people commented ton the file and said it worked perfectly, so any help on how i can get it to work or extract, any program suggestions, etc:, anything will help!!!!!
