I know you can download mac os 7.5.3 of a apple.com but which one should I get to use on virtual pc for windows and how would I install it?

but what is a good PC computer to buy......
i've had my apple/mac laptop for 6 years and its taken alot.....its starting to die missing a key.....
and i'm not able to afford a new one....
i know that PC's are cheaper (cause they are piece of craps) but i don't know what would be good one...i would basicly be using it for mail and internet.....

Whats the point? I mean if I'm just going to turn around and run Windows, why shouldI shell out $2,500 when I could achieve the same effect for < $600? I mean, I know OSX isn't that great of an OS, but sheesh I don't think advertising Windows compatibility is going to sway most folks into shelling out the cash to buy Windows plus OSX?

I run XP and my WISP is rather far away and I had to spend a lot of money for the gear to connect to it and can't afford a different wireless setup for each computer I have. Is there a way I can buy a cheap Linksys WiFi router and let my laptop and other machines in the house use the connection too?

I actually have one here that my brother gave me. I can't seem to get it to work at all. Pleeease help with detailed instructions

All the Apple commercials I see advertise Macs as being cooler than PCs. I mean, Mr. PC can't even do simple things like putting together a photo album. Is this accurate or is Apple just trying to BS their product on me?

Hi. The fan that's attached to my video card recently stopped, and the gpu temperature began rising to near-damaging. So to make up for the loss of a fan, i opened up my computer's case and stuck a window fan(long one with 2 fans in it) alongside my computer. Now my graphics card's temperature stays at around 55 degrees C with no games running and around 60-68 C with games running which is a safe temperature i'm sure. But are there any precautions i should take with having a regular fan blow into my computer? or am i safe until i can go out and get a new fan for my video card? Thanks in advance

i recently bought this motherboard along with processor, memory etc. it has built in graphics, but i can't find any drivers, no sorry i can't even find out the information of the graphics so i can even start to look for the right drivers to install.
does anyone know how to find out this information?
I've tried looking on the device manager and even ran dxdiag with directx 9 and they just come up with N/A or exclamation marks and has no information at all.
in fact theres a few devices under "other devices" (PCI device(even though i have no PCI cards plugged in), system interrupt controller, unknown device (that's what it says) and video controller (VGA compatible))
i think that not having this driver is the cause of the visual problems i am having, as the refresh rate when i scroll a page is extremely noticeable and the properties settings only allow me to use "default refresh rate"
please help how i can obtain this information for the drivers, unless you know where i can get them from.

Is there any way i can install Windows Media Player 11 without having SP2 installed ? i don't have sp2 installed and i don't want to install it. i will take a big space from my hard drive. at the time i try to install Windows Media Player 11 it will tell me UNSUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEM.

i want to change my layout. but everytime i do, my icons show up wierd.originally there are rows of like 5 icons beside eachother. and when i change my layout, it takes the last icon and puts it in a new row, with just that icon.
any idea of what i need to do to just keep my page the way it is, so it doesnt change???

Right now my wireless router G wont detect any service and i think i know why,my router is cconnected to my main computer and all seems fine there,but my two routers arnt on the same channel i need to change the channel for the onne that detects the service someone please help me,thank you
