Well, I found this nice cheap computer that seems to me to have all the good innards (for the lack of a better word). I didnt recodnise the brand, couldnt even see one. Could you take a quick look at it and tell me if the Features and Specifications are good. Thankyou.

It is "good enough" as a business desktop BUT it is overpriced. The processor is power hungry and getting obsolete. The cool running and lower clocked NEW Pentium E2160 would easily beat that old tech Pentium. The onboard graphics may be good enough for 2D and video but slow for games.

This is definitely expensive for 999USD (roughly 3.8kRM if converted to my country's currency). I would strongly advise not to buy it.
You could get a better system with Intel Duo 2 Core processor for that price. The processor they using is the going to be obsolete Pentium 4 processor which is a single core processor. It is currently going for a cheap price.

Go get a Dell or a HP which is of a better quality and a bargain price. Getting the AMD processor from DELL or HP at a cheap price would be even better than this system. The P4 burns a lot of power, and it is not efficient.

that's... ok. $500 might probable get you something somewhat better from Dell. Acer is an ok producer, however. The questions is this - what do you opt for your computer for? and not utilising a committed video card (the Acer does not have that), you does not be waiting to play many video games. And do you opt for a quad-middle processor? A middle 2 Duo might probable run cooler and waste much less power, on a similar time as being purely as rapid for almost all of purposes.

The Computer is pretty decent. I think you could prably do better though. For a thousand dollars I think that its a pretty logical deal. Kinda depends on what you need to do on it. I think you could pretty much do whatever on it as long as its not high end gaming. Its not a steal but not a rip off either.

BUT DOES IT COME WITH AN OS? Did it say Vista or XP? I didnt see it but maybe I am wrong. MAKE sure it says it comes with an OS, if you dont see it call. If it dosent come with 1, you going to have to spend another $100+ for XP or Vista.

I find it to be a ripoff. Go to Newegg.com and look up Acer systems... You can get in a much better, dual core system with 2 gigs of RAM, DVD burner, AND buy a seperate 19" LCD for under $700. They have a one year parts and labor warranty standard and great tech support :)

that's a terrible computer for a thousand bucks especially since there's no brand listed. You can get much better from HP, IBM, or pretty much any other brand even from a regular retailer. The Processor is old and you can do much better.

Note: This computer value bundle does not include an operating system.

Just get an iMac or a Mac...

if you ask me its a bit over priced. for that price you should have a dual core. It would be a lot cheeper to make your own
