According to the OO page "
Near the bottom left of the dialog that appears, click on the box next to "Regular Expressions"
In the "Search For" field, type: ^$ This regular expression says to search for a paragraph marker '$' at the beginning of a paragraph,

However it doesn't work. And I don't seem to be able to enter special characters in the search box.

I'm using Open Office Writer version 2.21 and running on a machine with Vista Ultimate.

my company uses a hardline to connect to the internet for the pc's but they also have an unsecured wireless labeled guests. i surf the net via my personal laptop using the guest wireless connection. is the company still able to track what i surf from my laptop?

Ok i have an older pc i am repairing just to see if i can do it. I recived an error message that said "fan failed shutting pc down in 5 seconds." The pc has only 1 fan in it, and considering it smelled seriously burnt, i ordered a new one from new egg. I got the new one today and added the heat compound and installed it only to get the same pc fan failed message. Now what??

Ok, I bought a PCI graphics card for my Dell Dimension 2400. I know that the graphic card is the slot that the monitor plugs in, but I guess my PC has an on board graphics card? Now I have this new graphics card and have no idea how to connect it into my PC. Any help would be great, I just hope I did not waste money on a graphics card I can't use.

I turned on my monitor and the screen is noticably shorter at the top. I've messed with the monitor controls and I cannot get it to display anything above the file edit tabs. There are also light blue lines trailing down from the top of the screen.

I was wondering if this was my monitor dying or if it was the video card. Thanks all.

I have a HP desk top set up with a Terayon Cable Modem by USB (eternet card does not work). I have a Compaq desk top with a Linksys PCI card installed. I am wanting to buy a wireless router so that I can run both computers. I do not know how to hook up the wireless router when I do buy it. Will it matter that the HP's eternet card does not work? Can it be done by the USB port? Please somebody help! Thanks

Hello. I have a wireless router and DSL, 4mbits. I have a pc and a laptop. Now, I would like to split connection, so the pc and the laptop could connect to the internet, 2mbits each. How can I do this. Because when I'm downloading something on the pc, connection on the laptop is like 100 kbps. I was looking in my router configuration, but I didn't see anything that would do what I need.

Does anyone know the answer?

I am in college and live in an apartment with other students but I am paying for the internet and I am charging by the month so. I am receiving 10 mbps. How do i regulate the speeds? I mean if someone is downloading using bittorent they will hog the connection. How do I delegate a certain connection speed for each user?

i know u can clear the history through tool-internet options-clear history. but even after that when you press ctrl+h all the visited pages get opened on your left side. if you try to delete them by right clicking and select delete even after they could not be deleted and whenever you press ctrl+H all the pages will appear again. Actually i m using shared computer and need privacy so tell me how to get rid of this

It seems that everytime I visit something online, the next day I get like ten spam e-mails about that subject. I have AVS along with spybot and spycleaner and also CCleaner. So far I haven't seen them do any good. Could someone tell me how to stop this? Thanks so much!
