some people profiles have songs. can you choose any song you want can you upload one of yours incase they dont have the one you want or do you have to choose from a list of songs they have?

i tried exiting out of it but it won't and i tried shutting down the computer but it keeps saying that windows movie maker needs to be closed first. well, I CAN'T CLOSE IT!!!! it's been like this for 10 minutes! help!!!

Alternatively, I'd like to display a text tooltip, styled on a black background with different colors and sizes of text. I can just create the tooltip with mspaint and save it as an image, but don't know which way of displaying it would be easier to code.

For my project I am to "pretend" to buy a computer system for my office using the following prgrams:

Microsoft Windows Vista Business
Microsoft Office Suites 2003 or newer
Word
Excel
Access
PowerPoint
Outlook
Publisher

Antivirus Program (of choice)
Adobe Acrobat reader professional (to convert files from Microsoft to .PDF files)
Adobe Photoshop CS
Or
Corel Photoshop

I need to determine the requirements for the following devices:
CPU
RAM
HARD DRIVE
GRAPHICS VIDEO CARD
SOUND CARD
OPTICAL DRIVE
MONITOR
NIC CARD
PRINTER

Noted: the hard drive should be the total needed to run the software plus 40 GB. The amount of RAM should be as much as possible.

Now this is a great assignment, but I don't know or understand that much about Computer Systems to fulfill this assignment.

I was wondering if I may be so lucky to have someone volunteer to help me figure this out?

I can't help but notice that iexplore.exe tends to eap my system resources (I'm running VISTA).

Right now, it's at about 27K, but not long ago it was 77K.

How can I fix this problem?

What kind? There's so many programs out there; and most of them are junk. Especially car commercials - they're outstanding! I mean, big time video editors, like hundreds or thousands of dollars to buy the program. Just wondering. =) Thanks!

I have a Satellite A130/A135 Window's Vista from Toshiba.
When I log in, everything seems fine. I can even click on
programs and get them to open, and I may use Task Manager.

However, just after I log in, a dialog box pops up saying
that Windows Explorer is not working properly and that
it is searching for a solution to a problem. Not three seconds
after, another box pops up saying Explorer is restarting, and
it restarts Windows Explorer as if I had just logged in.

Does anybody know why this is and how I can fix the popup
problem?

On Dashboard i had a widget called Secret Notepad that i could write things in and it would save them with a password, and so when i was too lazy to write in my journal then i would type it up quickly, so today when i finally was gonna copy it all down, the keychain thing on mac come up and i didnt know the password so i just deleted the keychain off everything thru spotlight and it still wouldent let me in and asked if i wanted to reset everything and i thought it meant just keychain so i said yes and it erased all my journal entrys :( is there any way too search my computer and get them back somehow???

Well, I'm looking at this one laptop that you can find on samsclub.com, but its cheap, its almost too cheap to be true. I installed a new video card in my pc.The reason was when I watch videos,on parts that had fast motion, the video would be choppy.I bought a Geforce fx5500.the videos play better but are still a little choppy.My question is should I set the settings for performance or quality in the video card settings to fix this problem...my system specs are:
3.0 ghrz cpu
1 gb ram
using windows media player 11

i have a custom built computer and it had xp on it but i installed windows vista home basic and all the sudden i have no sound. my brother installed it and he has sound.
i tried the following:
- my speakers are connected properly
- i tried my stereo, and other speakers
- my volume is cranked and not muted
but i have no sound

would usb speakers work??

Is a Laptop REALLY better than a Desktop? I dont think so because im using a laptop right now and its kinda annoying. U have to use your finger as the mouse; they keys dont always press down correctly, and its confusing. A desktop is more simple and and can be just as good as a laptop. WHat do u think is better?
