some people profiles have songs. can you choose any song you want can you upload one of yours incase they dont have the one you want or do you have to choose from a list of songs they have?

okay go to music and type in your fav band pick a song and pick add or you can make your own music space like i did

You can choose to put a song on your profile by looking through Myspace Music: http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music
There is quite a wide collection of songs here. As for songs not in the catalog, Myspace requires one to be the original content owner of a song to upload that song onto their website (as is legal), but this rule is often breached. It is up to you whether you want to upload other artist's music to a Myspace Music profile (against their rules) or not.

You can set up a free account, search music and make a playlist. You can have like 80 songs on it.
You can get a code for your Myspace page. You can also personalize it to match your page.
