Is a Laptop REALLY better than a Desktop? I dont think so because im using a laptop right now and its kinda annoying. U have to use your finger as the mouse; they keys dont always press down correctly, and its confusing. A desktop is more simple and and can be just as good as a laptop. WHat do u think is better?

Labtops are only better then desktops if you need to carry your computer around with you. In every other category desktops are better. All of the new technology comes out for desktops and then is eventually adapted to labtops so the top desktop on the market will crush the top labtops on the market. Not to mention labtops are not very upgradeble, this includes things like screen, motherboards and such. I have a top of the line labtop, and I have to upgrade it to a completely new computer every 3 years to stay on top of technology not to mention the abuse a labtop gets from carrying it around. My desktop on the other hand, I can buy a new motherboard a couple of ram chips and a bigger harddrive and have a new computer for a fraction of the price.

It just depends on a person. Eventually, I think they'll be the same. You can buy a mouse for a laptop, but the keyboard does take some getting used too. Everything is getting smaller, so eventually, it'll all be the same, but for right now Desktops are able to do more. Just look at Dell's best Desktop and their best Laptop. They're awesome, and they do a lot, but the Desktop can have up to 2 Tearbytes of Memory!! That's a lot!! The Laptop can't do that. Just see for yourself. www.dell.com

well for most stuf, a laptop is better, but if ur a gamer a desktop would be better because u can upgrade it. u would use a mouse with the laptop if u would be using it 4 an extended amount of time. like for example my moms company they all have thinkpads and docking station at there desk so they can carry there laptop around and put it on the dock at there desk and use it as a desktop.

it depends on what you want it for..portability is the key feature of a laptop. You can get ALOT more goodies in a desktop for the same price as a decent lappy. AND you desktop is usually much more upgradeable. hope this helps..R.

It is can be taken anywhere, a deskto can't, it dose everything a desktop can do even if you use your finger for the mouse. I think it's better.
