So basically i got a macbook and i downloaded vista so that i could play some games i like. But i realized that macbook came with a crappy graphic card a.k.a. intel gma 950. My question is can i play games like battlefield 2142 and Rainbow 6 Vegas with the intel gma 950 graphics card? And if i can will the setting be normal or really low. And will those games work on vista home premium? TY for your answers

i rebooted my computer completely which deleted everything and now my graphics are messed up and i have no sound..i downloaded the driver for my monitor so i can adjust resolution and such but how do i install it? im very confused...

norton now says it will cost her an additional $99 to fix the problem. what does norton actually do for $100?
p.s. i believe the virus is " starware " as far as i know, all she did was type in

ever since yesterday,
i've been getting this thing
saying that my other computer has a trojan virus.

and every now and then,
it'll say that it recommends antivirus golden,
or spyheal or other types.

i have mcafree (sp?) but it says that
i'm full protected and nothing's wrong.

what should i do because
my computer is acting super slow now
and freezes up after i use it for 10 mins.

I tried opening the case but it doesn't seem like the screws on the cd drive are accesible. is there something that i dont know? i can open the left side of the case but the rest of it is bolted in so i dont know how to get to the screws on the right. is it a dell thing to not allow you to upgrade your cd drive?

and it has over a thousand MHZ (Windows XP). I couldn't even get it to work with oldblivion. Is there a way I could possibly run this?
Just to see I tried it with Someone else's Intel Duo, Dual core Windows Vista and it didn't work either, with or without Oldblivion.
Please help!

i thought june 1st was when all the vista betas were going to end. I got a message yesterday telling me to save all my data and i only had 7 hours to go. But the 7 hours have passed and its almost 24 hours later. Why is vista still working?

processor to AMD Athalon 4400+ which has 1gbX2 L2 cache, going beyond that to say 5000+ probably wont give me much improvement coz the L2 cache would be same as 4400+, just the Frequency would be higher.Basically i would assume i will get the max bang for the buck by just going upto 4400+. I just purchased a new acer notebook. It has vista, and I already added a network. It acknowledges the network, but when I try to connect, it says "The connection to 'xxxxxx' was cancelled" this might be due to timeout or user actions' and whenever I try to diagnose the problem. Is there such a device that can provide NAS functionality AND has a print server?

I want to connect a USB external hard drive to my LAN to use as network storage. I also need a print server.

I would rather not buy 2 devices.
A network scanner functionality would be a plus. My printer is a printer-scanner combo (Samsung scx-4100).

... who can tell me why Virtual PC does not acknowledge a Windows 95 installation CD whereas both Windows 98 and Windows 2000 Pro installed fine without any problems. Secondly, how hard is it to physically transfer a hard drive from one computer to another and then successfully install it. Would there be any problem with Drive Letters as the hard drive being transferred obviously thinks of itself as a 'c' drive but there is obviously already a 'c' drive on the intended host computer. I have 7 Compaq System Recovery Windows XP Home Edition CDs, and I was trying to leave my computer exactly as it came when I bought it. This is not the first time I do this and everything had gone well, except when I get to CD#6 it doesn't read it and it will not let me go any further. If I turn it off, it will give me a black screen giving me an error and to press ctrl alt del but it still won't do anything. I know it erased my OS already. Once I restarted it tells me to insert the cd#6 again but again it won't read it. What can I do to at least have my desktop working again. Help!!!!!

I'm about to start programming a game with flash. I was wondering if it is possible to look at the code of other games to help me out when I get stuck. I'm mainly looking for platformer type elements.

If I download a flash game can I see the code afterwards?

Is it possible to see code like you can with webpages? ie. right click -> View Source.
