i've been getting this thing
saying that my other computer has a trojan virus.

and every now and then,
it'll say that it recommends antivirus golden,
or spyheal or other types.

i have mcafree (sp?) but it says that
i'm full protected and nothing's wrong.

what should i do because
my computer is acting super slow now
and freezes up after i use it for 10 mins.

Antispyware I use three. You can only use one antivirus program or you will have serious conflict with your system.

Superantispyware, known to find what all other anitspyware will miss. http://www.superantispyware.com

A2Squard Malware out of Austria. Download their free version and you will be protected from, rogue dialers, worms, malware, keyloggers, trace spyware and rouge cookies.

http://www.emsisoft.com

AdAware SE Personal out of Sweden. This antispyware company has been around since computers became commerical. In June of this year they will come out with a brand new version. Right now it is beta testing. Download their free home for personal use. http://www.lavasoft.com

All of these program I have listed for you use little or no resources.

Any one of these program, or all three of them will remove your spyware. Superantispyware is the best one

Here is a way to find out if your being lied to. Disable the mcafie. Don't delete it. Download Active Virus Shield and let it scan and see if it finds any thing. I bet it will. What ever it finds delete it. I bet you have a bad cookie. When you finish remove the mcafie.
