I have a toshiba laptop with windows xp i have the admin. password but i do not have the user pass
word

I’m afraid I do not understand.
If you have the admin password this bypasses all other passwords.
You may retrieve all data stored under any user.
By invocating admin rights, you can also change delete or do any number of other things to any user.
Confused!

Log on as admin then change the user's password
