I added my website URL to Google recently. A few days later when I went to search with Google, my website showed up in the results on page 1. 2 weeks later (now) its buried way back in pages 20 or so.

How do I keep it persistent (and on page 1) like some of the other sites I see in results?

I am soon heading to college and need to invest on a laptop. but im having problems on deciding. i know that i want a HP but dont know wether it should be a AMD processor or the Intel core duo. i am not much of a gamer so i will mostly be using the laptop for research, papers, music, photos and just surfing the net. can someone please clear it up for me and tell me which is better for those applications so hopefully i can save some money.

Ok, here we go. I recently bought a new computer with a 3.15 Ghz processor and 512mb. The problem is the intergrated graphics card doesnt do a good job with games. I need a graphics card under $150 that works with vista and games like WoW.

i created this powerpoint and it's like 94 slides. i wanted to changed the text color. do i have to go through each slide and change the text color or is there an easier way to do it. i tried select all method and the color tab won't let me choose the colors.

you see i have a digital camera and i used a usb cable to transfer the videos to my computer then i tried to upload them but they were over 100 mb so i found a gooogle program used fro videos over 100 mb but then i found out the program wouldnt take it because of the format so i want to know if any one knows any program to convert VR_MOVIES to fromats like MPEG and other formats like that and if you do please tell me only if the program is good and if its free and if so where can i find it

For some reason whenever i print stuff off a website that has pictures it cuts the picture in half rather then sticking it on the next page! WTF! This is annoying! I want the picture for a reason... How do i fix this? Please help!

I have been noticing that my wireless internet slows down during certain times of day. I have also noticed a crowd of questionable characters at the house next door when this happens. I have a cable internet service which is supposed to provide 512k up and 7mbps down. My wireless router reports it can support 54 mbps most of the time but when I notice problems it sometimes reports 48 mbps and occasionally it even drops to as low as 18 mbps. However signal strength remains constant.
I decided to hard wire one of my computers into the cable modem. Now my rather lethargic internet access runs like a “scalded dog”
What do you think is my problem and what should I do about it?

Whenever I try to watch a DVD, the video becomes laggy during intense scenes, and then goes totally out of sync. I've updated all the drivers, nothing seems to work. I had a 6600GT that worked perfectly before I installed the 7600GT. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to decide between two laptops; a Compaq Presario V2000 and an IBM Thinkpad T41. Both are light with a great screen (14" Wide on Compaq and regular 14" on IBM) One gig of Memory (2700 DDR on both) and an 80 gig Hard drive on each laptop. I'd be using the laptop mostly for school. All the video cards out there offer the amount of memory that they provide. But why the incredible difference in price between cards with the same amount of memory? Dell offers a 256MB card for over $1,000 and another for less than $75. Clearly there are other factors to consider, but what are they and how do they affect the performance?

I bought a video card for my PC a year or so ago (It's an ATI Radeon 9250). It's not the best video card ever, but I'm able to run fairly graphics-intensive games with it. Unfortunately, I'm reduced to playing most of those games at the low-mid level graphics settings. I'm wondering whether I should buy a new video card or upgrade my RAM (I'm running on 512 mb at the moment)? Or should I just buy a new computer?
