I have a photo that I want to make transparent so that I can use it for a background on a website. I want it transparent so I can be able to add text over it

fscanf() function don't search a file i think there are two problems
first fscanf can't find file.second it can't find char variabales.

the sound on my windows PC has gone. i thought it was the speakers but it also doesnt work when i plug in headphones. ive double checked the plugs and settings...is it the sound card? how can i fix this? thanks :)

I've run avast, search and destroy, ad-awareSE, with negative results...can there still be something lurking? Also get rundll message at startup, saying something about myweb...can't be found or something...how to find out without cleaning its clock???

I just have a few questions, if i were to take a compaq case,dvd rom, cdrom, and floppy drive, and take the mother board and the cpu out of it, replace it with a new mother board and cpu. would it work with the exsisting drives? Are all drives compatible with all motherboards? I am also planning to get a new video card and upgrade the current memeory, from 128mb, to atleast512, preferrabley 1gb, I dont have a lot of money to work with but I thought I would take one step at a time.

My computer isn't letting me download it.

I have a brand new installation of windows, I don't have any viruses, adware or anything like that.

I turned off firewall, I turned off my antivirus, I turned off my windows defender...no matter what I can't go to that link but everyone else can. What is screwed up on my computer that isn't letting me?

Pleaseee help!

P.S. It's not just my computer, there are two other computers in my house on the same network (same router) and neither of them can download this one particular file either.

My account "ralphdawg12" was deactivated in mid-day in early Sep 2006, I believe it was. All without explanation. I had used it for years and had a lot of personal correspondence, family photos, etc. stored in it. I need to retrieve the info, if not the account name. Of course I would like just to re-activate the account and move on!

I get alot of pop ups and even when i´m not on the internet i get a window that says messenger service telling me i have certain viruses and that i need to download registry update from regfixit.com my homepage keeps getting changed to www.iupdatepage.com, downloaded spybot search and destroy and that didn´t work, i look in my programs list and i have programs that i have used before and know they don´t cause these viruses. i get toolbars that install themselves! and programs installing themselves too, and my computer is going slow although i just reinstalled windows yesterday, what can i do about this.

I have instructions on finding a mindmap program on my university computer system. The instructions are:

from start, go into the applications window
choose assisted technology
Then 'inspiration'

I can't find the applications window! what is it and how do I find it? I know the start button but that's it!

The computer physically hooked up to my modem (AT&T DSL service) will stop loading web pages or download emails after an hour or so, but the wirelessly connected computers work normally. Any suggestions?

I am using Outlook Express and have Windows XP.

When ever I try to open an e-mail with an attachemnt, a pop up says, 'the file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Option control panel' and I am never able to open them.

I've gone to the folder option and not sure of what I am suppose to do once I get there.

At times I receive emails from people whom have heard me speak and whom have picked up my card. But lately I've been getting emails from sites that are solcitating for sexually oriented "services". I do not want this "adult" material coming to me. In fact, though I report this as spam to Yahoo! I constantly get email from a site with a trumped up name and "Hi" in the subject. How can I stop this? I know it originates from the same source because the subject topic is always the same. Now, I'm getting even more email; today I received one with an attachment that had a virus. Please advise me how I can know if the email comes from a site that is marketing sex and not someone who has received my card and wants to communicate with me. Thank you.
