My computer isn't letting me download it.

I have a brand new installation of windows, I don't have any viruses, adware or anything like that.

I turned off firewall, I turned off my antivirus, I turned off my windows defender...no matter what I can't go to that link but everyone else can. What is screwed up on my computer that isn't letting me?

Pleaseee help!

P.S. It's not just my computer, there are two other computers in my house on the same network (same router) and neither of them can download this one particular file either.

THanks!

It is a simple zip file. This is probably due to some sort of firewall in my network or something but I don't know what ports to open on my router. I have disabled all my software firewalls.

downloading a zip file with a direct link does NOT require activeX, but YES, I am allowing it.

Avast Antivirus and Zone Alarm Pro.. both are perfect for a trouble free PC (if you use net). I used to be a big fan of AVG, but go damn their update servers are so slow (or at least, were when I switched) and there are hardly and major updates to the interface and such. Thanks god Avast is equally good, and they update (mostly adding new features) regularly."
Good luck!

That is a zip archive, so make sure you have a zip utility. I would also use a download manager available free on the web. www.snapfiles.com in freeware has both. The reason I suggest a manager is maybe it will supply a reason if denied access. BTW, ARE YOU ALLOWING ACTIVE X in the upper right corner when you try to download the file?

try turning on activex settings. if you need the file so much tell the ppl to send it to you via msn/ y messanger its a small file so u will recieve it in a short time even on dial up i think. or else try downloading fire fox or opera(other internet explorers). also try connecting one pc without the router cause routers have firewalls in them. zip files are supposed to be able to be downloaded cause they are a defult format. that the windows recognizes. firewalls dont block zip files i think

Maybe you just don't have the program needed to open the file. Like sometimes I send out movie clips on Microsoft movie maker and people can't see the slides because they just don't have that program on their system. Sorry, dude.
