Iright clicked on the program, which is a game called The Sims, and i clicked delete. It ended up in the recycling bin, so i emptyed the recycling bin. However, the program is still showing up that it is installed in the computer. I went to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and after selecting the program, i clicked the button Add/Remove, but it keeps trying to install it, it wont let me uninstall it. Help please!

Everything seems normal but any time I type its double, and if i get on-line there are crazy pop-ups. I can not open in "safe mode" and when i turn on the computer I get this screen that dispalys a bunch of information I don't understand and at the bottom it says " press f1 to continue or delete for setup options". I press delete and I get A menu but I can not select any options. I have Ad-aware, AVG, and spybot, none of these have helped and i'm not sure what to do. By the way I'm not on that computer now.

In August I moved to another locale.That move entailed shipping boxes,bags/suitcases to the new locale.Recently I set up my computer desk and the computer,printer and scanner.However,I am in a desperate situation as I cannot find the cables for the scanner(which I need) and several other cables.I know I packed them,my extra port(as I did not have enough for all the cables)and my earphone.I have searched every box /bag twice,some three times but I cannot locate them.The agent for the shipping company said that he has not been informed of anyone finding any extra box/bag.I cannot imagine packing my computer equipment without the essentials.I know I taped the cables and placed them and the surge protector in a box with other important items. I have found the top or bottom of some outfits but cannot explain to myself or anyone where the other part is located.What can I do?I need my computer as my hard drive contains information I do not want to put on the computer I am using now at work.
