I currently have about 896MB of ram on my computer , And i was wondering if I Should get more , if so how much more an how much would it cost?

And by getting more RAM , would my computer performance speed up?

If not whats a way to speed that up?

My computer only has the £ sign and I need to insert a US dollar sign. Does anybody know the shortcut for this or where I can look for this synbol. I looked in fonts but could not see it and also in symbols. Thanks.

the back up is laughable, they start you off cheap then jump you to an overpriced tarriff which you are locked into, they do not follow up complaints and there service is terrible!! if you are looking for broadband avoid at all costs!!

I have disabled autodisconnect. Done numerous antivirus, spyware checks etc. My connection is wireless via an adsl modem router. When I am disconnected my signal strength to the router is still excellent. After being disconnected I have to reboot before I can reconnect to the internet & this connects me again immediately.
If it was my router it would still be happening when I am not on Questions & Answers but it doesn't...unless it's just a coincidence that when it does occur I happen to be on here.

3 times now my notron virus protection has blocked an intrusion from computer address 204.16.208.135, it says characteristics of a portscan attack, tried researching through symantec and says the location of that computer cannot be found....does anyone know anything about what i am talking about? what is this attack, how to prevent, is it serious, and how can i find out who is behind this scan?

After my net is connected within 5 minutes this starts. Small popo-ups tell me some mail(i did not even send) to some address(i do not even know) with some advertising spam has bee rejected by the mail server. soon it floods the desktop and the machine is bogged down. Can somebody say what has gone wrong and how to correct it?? Please...
