I have disabled autodisconnect. Done numerous antivirus, spyware checks etc. My connection is wireless via an adsl modem router. When I am disconnected my signal strength to the router is still excellent. After being disconnected I have to reboot before I can reconnect to the internet & this connects me again immediately.
If it was my router it would still be happening when I am not on Questions & Answers but it doesn't...unless it's just a coincidence that when it does occur I happen to be on here.

PS. The reason I disabled autodisconnect is because I am running Windows 2000 which can by default disconnect after a period of 15 minutes of no activity.

I would have to guess it is a coincidence (do you spend a lot of time here then?), because I'm not seeing how that could possibly be the cause of you getting disconnected.

ok as much as I trust you, turning Y!A right into a wiki based internet site won't paintings. That in basic terms brings a clean subject of vandalism, which may be confusing to average. whether a extra conversational experience could be stable, according to probability a miniature chat room sort applet for each question? ought to open up new territory for debates. As with subject B, that's not a Y!A fault. that's very own. i don't positioned up a clean question till that's unique, yet many people won't seek before asking. If there's a thank you to repair this (according to probability asking people to seek first by using giving them a itemizing of comparable questions as they ask) it may be large. additionally, Y!A is enormously stable because it extremely is. whether the non secular areas could desire to be saved to R & S...to usually do I see people using God as an answer for different questions. whether i'm anti-non secular, I definitely have a undeniable degree of tolerance. that's broken whilst somebody potential that a mentally bothered individual could desire to seek for God for suggestion extremely of seeing a professional.

It sounds like there is a bug in your computer's Yahoo q&a files. If you have system restore, try going back to a time before this problem occurred.

OR you can remove and re install yahoo q&a. If that doesn't work, remove and replace yahoo files in the add/remove programs in the control panel.. You will have to reset your settings again, but should cure the problem.

Sounds like a coincidence. Sometimes whe loading a Yahoo page, even my e-mail, I get a Page not found error but hitting the refresh buttom always works for me. I think Yahoo's servers are a bit overloaded lately.

Yahoo Answers does go down from time to time. I forget what Yahoo call it but it's like they re-boot and it takes a little while.
