However, the program is still showing up that it is installed in the computer. I went to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and after selecting the program, i clicked the button Add/Remove, but it keeps trying to install it, it wont let me uninstall it. Help please!

What you did is a very messy way of removing a program. By design most programs have associated files in your registry and in other places, that help support the program that is being run.
The ADD/REMOVE toolbar searchs for the unistaller of the program and runs it. However since you deleted the folder it can't find it and attempts to reinstall it.

My suggestion is to reinstall it and then use the ADD/REMOVE to fully remove the program. In the future ALWAYS use ADD/REMOVE

Here are two suggestion, as I don't want you to open the "regedit", and removed all the associated keys to this game. Just one mistake you can destroy your entire platform.

Left click on start=run and type in: c://program files= click on browser, click on program files and see if you see the name of the game in your program files. If you do, try to see if you can delete the entire file. (It may say unable to delete "as file is in use", if so reboot and try again. If it still does not work, then download from, http://www.rosecitysoftware.com their "Registry First Aid". This is not a free program, but you can follow these steps to remove the program during the evaluation period.

After you download the program, run "Check my registry for errors", the program will make a complete backup and then will scan your system for error. When complete you will see check marks next to green yellow and red boxes. Even if you are not an expert, you can delete the green, yellow and red which will have a caution mark. Reasons is you have a complete back up of your regisitry. (You can find it at start, search files, and type in "backup", pc will scan your system for backups. You will see "regbackups", open and either delete or retore.

(I can assure you that I have used this program for over ten years and never has this program removed a wrong registry key).

Next you want to go to "Search the registry", in the same program and type in the name of the game and click on add. The program will scan for for the associated name and pull up all registry keys associated with the name. Each section pertaining to each key you will see an arrow pointing down. Left click on the arrow and it will drop down to delete sub string. Left click on the substring so that a check marks shows on the left side of the screen.

Continue on down the line cutting all sub strings. Then delete them. You will still have a backup. The program will be removed the safe way without you having to do a manual removal from the registry and make one mistake and you will have to reformat your entire system.

Good Luck,

Go: start/mycomputer/(main hard drive where program was intalled)/program files/
find the program folder associated with that folder and go in.
locate the uninstall file within that folder to eliminate the program if there is none go back to program file directory find the folder right-click go properties and if read-only or hidden is selected uncheck and click apply then ok, look for uninstall file again now. if still not there delete the entire program folder and restart, that should do it. Good luck!

You will need to re-install the program then go the the control panel and do "Add/Remove Programs". Once it can not find one component it will not remove the program.

When that happens to me I go to my search. Click on start on your left hand bottom part of your desk top screen. Search is on the list. Go there and type in what your looking for. But you said you couldn't just delete. I do.

Unfortunately if you've deleted some files, the uninstall process may not work. You would really need to reinstall it, and then uninstall it fully
