MB mean megabits per second - the speed your net is connected to internet and the speed at which you download
GB means gigabytes (i think or close enough) and stands for the amount of data you can use a month (generally). So you have a 1MB speed (public maximum is around 8 at mo) and you can download upto 10 GB. Not just download tho - visiting websites uses up some but hardly any. 10GB good

Be careful because you have to be sure of the units. Most likely your download speed is 1 Mbps (that's 1 million *bits* per second) or about 125,000 bytes per second.

I hope your 10GB transfer limit is in bytes, not bits. That's 10 billion bytes. A short video played off of youtube, for example might be 50MB. Watch a few of those every day, and download a few programs and grab some MP3 songs and you might hit your limit rather quickly. It's actually not that hard to do.

It all depends on how much you surf and the kind of surfing. The most bandwidth intensive surfing would include video downloads and program downloads. If you are doing either of these things, see if your ISP has a page that will show your dynamic account standings. Check the numbers after surfing each day. See if you are getting close in a month or not.

hia, 10gb is plenty for standard use like flicking round internet and viewing the odd clip or reading your emails etc, but say forinstance you were to be transfering a lot of big files such as downloading large programs or downloading films as an average film is about 4.7 gb .but for normal internet usage 10gb should be plenty . hope that helps :)

The 1MB is your broadband connection speed

The 10Gb transfer limit is the amount of data (mp3's, films etc) you can download

That means that in a 30 day period, you cannot download more then 10gb or you will get charged.

Gotta love euro ISP's

10GB is enough for anyone...you wont go over the limit unless you download stupid amounts of data/music/video.

Hope that helps !!
