how can i locate the chat room that a friend is in?

Used to be a command called follow you used to just type /follow then the username and POOF you'd appear with them if there was room in the room.

I haven't used Yahoo chat in a long time however not since 2001.

type in there id on yahoo messenger then click on join in chat room

Have them invite you into it.
