The computer physically hooked up to my modem (AT&T DSL service) will stop loading web pages or download emails after an hour or so, but the wirelessly connected computers work normally. Any suggestions?

Wirelessly connected computers? Wirelessly connected to what? If your modem is plugged into the computer and there is no router, the wireless computers are connecting to an entirely different network (no DSL *modems* offer wireless access).

If you've got a router of some sort, then at least everything is talking to the same hardware. In that case I'd suspect a problem with the cable (or network card) in the hard-wired computer.

Are you saying your main computer which is physically connected on the modem using Ethernet cable is the one having problems and the other computers that you have which are connected using wireless connection are not having problems??

-I think you might be having computer problems and not dsl line problems. To be specific, you have a browser problem only. (internet explorer / mozilla etc )

-or ethernet cable problem

could be a cable connection problem, try a different network cable.
