you Tom, and Tom is uploading that same file, and a guy name Jerry downloads it from him, and then authorities caught Jerry for sharing that file. Are Tom and me going to be in trouble too or just Jerry? please try to understand this.

I shouldn't say IQ (I did not have enough space) but rather maturity and mental development of the askers (I mean some of the responses seem so juvenile I would think the average asker has to be younger than 18). I am not trying to be rude but maybe they should come up with a site for mature and educated people only. They don't have to be formally educated but just well read.

--But I don't know how to open the file. Also, it says now, under status, that it's uploading- does this mean that the file is not done? This is the first thing I have tried to dowload from bitcomet, it's supposed to be the full first season of Alias. Even though it says uploading, I hit the OpenDir icon and it opened up what I thought was supposed to be the season and I could hear the show but there is no picture. Is this because the file really isn't down uploading or is it messed up?
What is "uploading as opposed to downloading"?

I'm really bad with electronics so please try and be specific.

I have GeForce 6150 LE, 256 MB which has gotten old. I'm planning to get EVGA e-GeForce 7300 GT 512MB PCI Video Card. My question is, is it better than GeForce 6800, a famous one?

Another question, how would I know whether my desktop is AGP or PCI? I bought it in May this year.

Should I take my pc to Circuitcity (from where i bought it) to upgrade the Graphics card? Or I can do it? FYI, I still have 18 months of warranty left.

I know it is possible to do it if you have cable already at your house...you need a card of some sort I think. I actually wanted to know if there is a site or some service that you can just view cable on your PC without having it hooked to anything at your home. I would like to implement windows authentication and don't know how to. I know I need a web.config file but don't know what needs to go into it. If you could explain to me step by step what needs to go in the web.config and what needs to configured in IIS i would greatly appreciate it. I will be using Microsoft Frontpage and a Windows 2000 server to store my pages. This will be a static website and very simple content but I would like our links page to locked down to only authorized users. Meaning if you aren't in our users group you will not have access to the links page.
