I am having trouble with making hyperlinks in Notepate. How do i do it?

You have to give it a reference marker. The following code would render on a webpage as simply "Moodle" but it would be a clickable hyperlink to moodle/index.php

Notepad is a basic text editor. It doesn't understand hyperlinks. You really need a more advanced program to deal with hyperlinks, such as MS Word (a bit expensive), or OpenOffice.org. OpenOffice is probably the best office software that you can get for free.
