I am working on a new website for my work and wanted to know step by step how to secure certain areas of it.?

I would like to implement windows authentication and don't know how to. I know I need a web.config file but don't know what needs to go into it. If you could explain to me step by step what needs to go in the web.config and what needs to configured in IIS i would greatly appreciate it. I will be using Microsoft Frontpage and a Windows 2000 server to store my pages. This will be a static website and very simple content but I would like our links page to locked down to only authorized users. Meaning if you aren't in our users group you will not have access to the links page.

Look in the tools menu and select permissions. Add users and passwords as you wish.
