Step 1. Select the whole thing...(Ctrl + a)
Step 2. then right click.
Step 3. Click on Paragraph
Step 4. On middle you will see Line Spacing
Step 5. Change single to Double.
Step 6. Click Ok!
Congrats... your document is double spaced!!!

The Humble is mostly right.. but make sure you choose DOUBLE spacing. I use 1.5 when I want more space. I never liked double, but if it's for homework... make sure you do exactly what your directions say.

Using word you press Ctrl and A at the same time to select everything in the document, then you press Ctrl and 2 to double space!

To double-space text, cl Format, cl Pargraph.
To the lower-right you will see the option for line spacing.
cl the down arrow and select single.

I'm assuming you're using MS Word. Highlight the parag. you want to change. Click FORMAT menu, then PARAGRAPH. Look for 'Spacing' then change it to 'Double'.
