screen issue?

my laptop screen suddenly has a green line on the screen from top to bottom that appears to be on from the time i power it up even before Windows loads I ignored it at first but now a second line a blue one hs appeared any way i can fix it and what is the reason for it

It could be a problem with the video chip, but most likely it's a defective screen. The fact that it's vertical, from top to bottom could indicate a fracture in the metalization that drives the associated pixels.
