A few Months ago I started working on a book on the subject for the origin and meaning of names - a very interesting subject - however, I have not checked on the Internet because there are several good, mediocre and bad books in my city library that I prefer to use for bibliography. So, if you are interested in "Names" for people, I suggest that you go to you nearest library and do some search. Pick a name and compare it in a few books to see the difference and then check your findings with a couple of reputable dictionaries. Authors think differently and use different sources. So, keep that in mind too.
Good luck.
