I've currently Windows 2000 on my system but prior to that i've installed windows 2000server. And i formatted my system to remove windows 2000 server. But when my system boots, it gives me both the options i.e.,windows 2000 and windows 2000 server ,even though 2000 server is not there.

I want to remove that windows 2000 server option, can somebody help me in that.

hey friends.... actually my pc is infected with some virus. i have updated McAfee antivirus but still prob occures my TASK MANEGER IS DISABLED the massage shows " TASK MANEGER IS DIABLED BY ADMINISTRATOR"........ it is some type of spyware infection........... hope somebody will help........

I heard from a very reliable source that all of level 7 is trying to get rid of the lower level's. I also heard they were putting down everyone else. Just be on the lookout for all level 7 they are not to be trusted.

When I let my computer run for several days because I have open windows and stuff I have not yet time to consult seriously, eventually, it starts getting sluggish and programs no longer respond properly. At times it gets so bad I can't even turn it off and have to hit "reset". I suspect it's because cache memory and the like are becoming clogged. How do I prevent this without having to restart the computer?

Travelling is my hobby, and I love to trawl the internet for places to visit, and to read about places I have seen.
I also love to save images from various countries to Favourites, but I wonder now if the system will get clogged as these scenes accumulate, and if this will eventually slow down the system?
System capicity is 60 GB and 1024 MB.

I find myself looking at the average person in the street and wondering if they're as addicted to Yahoo! Answers as I am......

I sometimes get an irrational fear that i'll meet someone who I gave a sarcastic answer to, and they'll recognise me from my avatar picture, and we'll have a full-on fight on the underground or something.....

I am considered VERY computer literate, but now I need help! I had a Hewlett Packard Pavillion with Windows ME 2000 operating system, but the power source went out, leaving me stranded--without a backup of my 30GB harddrive with irreplaceable info. My uncle took the hard drive and put it in a new tower, but that tower is ancient with less than 300mHz--SLOW!!! This way, I was able to keep the OS and info on my internal harddrive. Is there any way to do this again, but with a new tower (motherboard, etc) that has more speed (1Ghz or higher) and more RAM (256 or higher)? If so, how do I do it myself? I catch on quickly!!!

Can anyone tell me how to disable the 'body text' function in MS Word Office XP. I hate it, it looks totally weird when compared with other text and Word seems to like automatically converting random sentences into this format. I know that it's possible to change the text formatting in the Style pull down menu that forms part of the tool bar but when I have to do that maybe 50 times in a big document that's a waste of time. Can't I just delete it as a style or is there an option that allows me to switch off automatic style formatting without switching off every other automatic process?
