I find myself looking at the average person in the street and wondering if they're as addicted to Yahoo! Answers as I am......
I sometimes get an irrational fear that i'll meet someone who I gave a sarcastic answer to, and they'll recognise me from my avatar picture, and we'll have a full-on fight on the underground or something.....
How can you recognise a Yahoo! Answerer????

First of all not everyone looks exactly like there avatar! Even though we may come close a person will never recognize that person from that.
Far as me worrying about an average person that I said something sarcastic over well I don't because it is my opinion and if they cannot except the answer then don't write the question. It doesn't bother me not one bit. Sometimes some of them need to get a dose of there own medicine simple because they say some stupid stuff themselves so the deserve a stupid answer. So I would worry if I were you, Just keep on writing your answers and be cool!

I could be. If you see a cartoon, running down the street, THAT's ME. But I probably didn't annoy you.
Some people probably should use an alternate identity here, and keep their personal information OFF of their page and/or 360 page. Answers is not a place where people should be looking to make new friends.... just ask questions or give answers.

I don't think most people look like thgeir avatars but I actually do so it could really happen. But if someone is gonna get that upset about anything I say then fair play to them if they wanna hunt me down and punch me. No one has ever upset me on here and if they did I wouldn't care enough to do anything about it, its not really real is it? And you don't know if anyone is what they say they are.
Good luck going out on the streets though, Raychelle could be there somewhere! (sorry looked at your old stuff and saw the feud)

Not until now... But there have been people I would like to meet face to face, just a bit worried about the risk of them being something more scary than they seem online.
I don't think I look like my avatar anyway other than hair and eye colour. My eyes are way too small!

No I do not worry about it and anyway there are a lot of look e likies on her it is clone/twin/triplet/quad city who would you know who was who? LOL
The only way someone would know it was you is if they looked in your profile and you gave a lot of info on yourself or your email address that others knew there again a stranger would not know you so it would be friends or family they may dob you in. lol
Do not worry if you get attacked I will come a and help I am level three must be some sort of black belt. lol

I dont think anyone would recognise you from an avatar, unless you look like a cartoon caracter.
I cant say i've ever wondered about that either.
I dont have an avatar so no1 will ever recognise me and if i did hav one still no1 would recognise me!

I would think the cances are pretty slim, because most people don't have pictures of themselves or even e-mail links on their Yahoo Answers profiles.
