I have good experience with Visual Basic, but now I need to learn the .net thing and visual basic express edition..
My enthusiasm is waining for leaning another program language..(this new stuff seems a lot different to me)..

Am I too old for this sh*te (37)?

I have some old DOS based programs in Foxpro. The text matter is printed through @ say.... commands directed through print to file program prfile32.exe.

Can any one suggest how to print company logo or icon file along with the text matter through the same print to file program ?

I just bought a new HP Photosmart C4180 All-In-One and i have a question..
There is a small display monitor on it .. I think when i 1st opened it it automatically came up .. Now when i open/close it, it jst stays up and i have to push it down..
Is that the way to happen ? Or do i have to do smth ?

i'm connected to internet via a NAVINI UNWIRED Ripwave modem. (http://www.navini.com/Website/Content/Products/Ripwave_MX_2.5_-_2.6GHz.htm )
i would like to connect it to my Prolink WGR1004 Adsl Router. ( http://www.fida.com/products/wgr1004.htm)
the problem is that i've done all recommended configuration but it's only a few time that i got connection to internet via the router. most of the time the router doesn't detect the modem. it says " searching for IP add from DHCP Server"
i have automatic IP address provided by my ISP when i'm connected directly to my modem to the internet.
if everything is ok and that i'm able to use internet via my router which is connected to the modem, as soon as any device is switch off, it didn't work anymore.. once more i have to connect and disconnect my modem to my router until i finally work... I'm bored with this trial n error...
if anyone could help me please...

All I want is to receive my e-mail; not a bunch of stuff I didn't ask for. I do not want to try this beta thing. I am retired and keep in touch with my children and family and I just want to write and receive e-mail, nothing more and nothing less. If I switch on my computer,on the desktop page it is written< Error Loading C:PROGRA~1NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL

I've done a complete virus scan (which includes adware & spyware), I've done disk cleanup, defragmented...yet my computer is still going a lot slower than it should. I have a pop up blocker, yet pop ups sometimes manage to pop up. And it's happening more & more. Programs will freeze & sometime Explorer will just shut down on it's own. What could be causing this & how could I fix it? (I can't afford to take my computer to a professional...plus last time, they screwed me over, majorly) Thanx in advance for all honest answers...
