Want to upgrade the RAM on my Dell Dimension 2400 but need to know what type it is. This computer is sh1t slow. It's doing my head in. Is it DDR?

It is DDR. It accepts 512, 256, and 128 size sticks. It has a max total of 1GB.

http://www.kingston.com/ukroot
Both sites allow you to enter your make/model of computer and will tell you the compatible memory modules.

go to this website www.orcalogic.co.uk they,ve got something called memory fider which helps you find Ram you need. it helped me update my Dell.
