everybody knows that i'm looking for a job i can do from home, what you don't know is that i know exactly what kind of job i'm looking for. here it is. i'm well qualified in trucking, both driving and office. what i'm looking for is a company who will let me do payroll, payables, etc. from home...fuel prices are so high that they will start to loose their best people to lower paying jobs just so thay don't have to drive so far to work. there are a lot of jobs in the industry that can be done from a remote location as long as you are tied into their secure server...i found out yesterday that a few companies are already experimenting with this to keep costs down. how can i word the question on the search engine to get hooked up with the most likely companies?---i don't care if it sounds like a stupid question as long as i get an answer that works!

I have Windows XP, and recently my copy and paste functions have not been working. I right click to copy and then go to paste, and it hasnt copied the stuff. I've also tried crtl + c, and ctrl+v but thats not working either. Please help :-(

Hi, I have a dell inspiron 6000,i guess it got heated upi dunno it was fine last night now its not turning on, i removed the battery for a while,it turned on and said "The system got warm more than expected" and then it turned off again ,what do i do?Where should i take it for repair,i am in NY,any place in midtown manhattan or elmhurst ,queens???

Whenever I try to play music or something that requires sound, it either doesn't play it at all, beeps, or says "Windows cannot find an audio device. Please try again (or something like that)." Also I have already tried to download the sound card's driver. I did that and the setup said it worked fine but there is still no sound. Furthermore I did a little research already and it said that I might need to download a chipset driver. So I did that too but IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!! I googled how to do it (but of course it didn't work becuase Yahoo! is WAY better) and there was nothing that could help. I have found several other cases on the internet but none with my sound card. My sound card is an SiS 7012 Audio Device. My chipset is an SiS 648. I have an Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2. The CPU is an Intel Pentium 4. Maybe my problem is that the monitor (where the speakers are) doens't have a driver installed, but I am pretty sure that it does. PLEASE HELP!!! I am so confused. =( =[

A lot of computer programmers notice the advantages of other operating systems [OS] like Linux and Mac (for multimedia), but what would it take for the general public to switch over to one of these OSs?

I have a broadband router that used to be connected via cable which had a RJ45 connection. I now have ADSL which only has a RJ11 cable connection. Will the RJ11 socket plug into the RJ45 socket of the router and will it work?
