With regards to the DELL batteries, I heard that you may check your battery serial number against the "test page" set-up by DELL in their website. Just key in the front 15 digit numbers will do instead of 16 digits as it may turn out to be invalid entry or whatsoever. Try it. No harm. =)

Did you really get an error like that? Thats awesome! lol...well, not awesome, just a little strange. Did you check to see if your battery was part of the recall? That could be a problem. Also, make sure your laptop is on a flat surface, and make sure it's not overheating where you live...I mean the temperature outside and inside...these things can affect the normal operation of laptops. Hope this helped!

There is a recall going on for batteries....they may catch fire. Go to a dell service center asap!

Never set a laptop on a soft surface - fabric etc. It blocks airflow.

Get it resolved soon as there is trouble in the wind.
