everybody knows that i'm looking for a job i can do from home, what you don't know is that i know exactly what kind of job i'm looking for. here it is. i'm well qualified in trucking, both driving and office. what i'm looking for is a company who will let me do payroll, payables, etc. from home...fuel prices are so high that they will start to loose their best people to lower paying jobs just so thay don't have to drive so far to work. there are a lot of jobs in the industry that can be done from a remote location as long as you are tied into their secure server...i found out yesterday that a few companies are already experimenting with this to keep costs down. how can i word the question on the search engine to get hooked up with the most likely companies?---i don't care if it sounds like a stupid question as long as i get an answer that works!

you could always start by calling all of the large trucking companies in your area or nearest metropolitan area and find out if they have yet to design a program as mentioned. It sound like a logical question, so I'm sure they will be happy to help you in your endeavors. Good Luck !

I think you would have to work with a company in the office for a while and be really really good. Then telecommute. Most companies will not hire you to be a telecommuter. You have to prove your ability to them first.

You can goto google.com and put "work from home"
in the search bar, problem is that you'll come up with thousands of scams designed to get your money.

Large companys do not advertise their work at home prgrams on the internet.

I don't know. I've worked for Schneider National for a year, and I've never heard of anything like that.

try "remote administrated trucking"
or "remote administrated logisitcs", you can alternatively try administered instead of administrated.

Though what you're doing is a long shot.
