Dell looks like it may have serious financial problems.
Maybe HP or Mac would be a better choice.
If Dell poofs you may have no support

Consumer reports ranks the Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro higher than any other laptop. As far as hardware, Mac's got you covered. There's plenty of hard drive space, a DVD burner (which Apple calls a "SuperDrive"), and the fastest processors available, the Intel Core Duo. You'll love the speed of the Core Duo. I'm on a Core Duo right now, and I'm telling you, they're fast. Worried about Windows? Don't. Macs run Windows, too. You'll love a Mac. I did. (No, I don't work for Apple, I just love my Mac and I like to see people love their computers. No one loves their computers like Mac users.)

I recomend any Acer laptop. They are much more reliable than Dell, Compaq, HP, and Emachines. Only Toshiba is better. I have an acer laptop that is 6 years old and still works, plus I just bought a new one 5 days ago. Also, I recomend Acer's customer support. It is much better than others that put you as a number. They actually care and will redirect you to sites that service them when Acer stops supporting them. They even have an international warranty that covers you if you leave your home country.

Dell XPS series

But it depends on what you're looking for. Dell has the best gaming laptop. Some other brand may be better at productivity apps. Just depends...

Overall though, I'd say Dell, followed by Alienware. Whatever you get, make sure it's a dual core system.

Ok...you mean the best laptop for the money I suppose. Because the best Laptops are the Thinkpads....but not for gaming and it's very expensive.

So, once you know how much you want to spend, just go to

If you are going for entertainment purposes, may choose HP DV 1600 series or 2000 series. Juz did some check out on laptops recently and noticed these are one of the best around. However, if it's for gaming purposes, then forget about these models.
