I was on msn and someone sent me a link saying "click the link for cool pics of us" but when i clicked it i got a virus! I think it's called blackworm virus or something like that. Does anyone know what to do or how to fix it or something? Please help!

My System Restore DOESN'T WORK!!!! I try to restore, but it says that Windows cannot be restored to this date, and that is what it says after I try to restore it to any date. Do you know how to fix this? I can not shut off system restore and then turn it back on becuase I would loose my important informatino I need to restore! I also do not have the backup disk that can also restore your pc with. I have windows Xp. If you don't know how to fix this, is there a place I could download new recovery software? Please, I need to restore my pc. I appreciate your help!!

Hello all. I have a $450 computer from walmart that I purchased about 2 or 3 years ago and it seemed rather slow but I thought it was just the price or something. But when I was looking on dell.com I was reading tabout this monitor that had all these great features inclouding the ability to multitask with ease. And then I was wondering if I took my school computer monitor(I home school) and used it if it would help me out cuzz I play games, watch movies in high def, ect... Does the monitor affect how fast the user can be productive, the cpu, or a little bit of both? Thanks for reading

My Internet Provider only allows me to check my e-mail if I use its internet services, and not from another ISP. So I thought that I should set up a proxy server, since I know there are lots, and my ISP would think that I'm connecting from another country, and that is ok. My laptop's wireless signal cuts out and then wont find a wireless signal, despite being several metres from my wireless hub. Sometimes it works fine but have better chance of getting signal by elevating the base of my laptop slightly. I dont get a signal outside my room, when our other laptop gets signal in the garden which is 2 floors downstairs.Any suggestions?
Please only respond if you are experienced in wireless troubleshooting.

I was thinking of buying a new computer. This one:

after a fresh install of windows xp i thought i would give a different anti-virus a go,so i downloaded and installed the one year evaluation from computer accosiates"e\trust anti-virus"
has anyone used this before as i would be intrested to hear some opinions on the software,as normal i have also used spy-bot and adaware

I had a nasty email from Yahoo that they may cancel my account for violating the TOS. HAHAHAHA OMG no! That means I would have to use someone else like, say, Google?
