comp still works fine but when I type it doesnt work at all-how much would it cost to replace keypad???

It depends, normally laptop keyboards are expensive. I had to replace my Dell keyboards cuz my dogs ate the keys lol

It cost me like $100 but it really depends on what model you have. If you still have a valid warranty, then its free. You should find out if you still have warranty on your computer. Normally with Dell and Toshiba, they either send someone to your house and they replace it for you, or they send you to their referred store where they pay that store to replace it for you.

Its easy to install if you just get the keyboard. I think the service charge is more than the keyboard, so you might want to just get the keyboard and install it yourself.

If you need help installing it, then just contact me. It should be only $20-$40 just for the keyboard.

it shouldnt be all that much. if you have a warranty they might cover it. keyboards are easy to replace. pop the panel above the keyboard remove the 2-4 screws remove the connctor and put the new one on in the reverse order.

if u let it dry out it may start to work again though
