Hello,
I was thinking of buying a new computer. This one:
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=E1405S2&s=dhs

Intel Core processor Duo T2300E (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB)
Is this a pretty decent one? Can I do video editing and photo editing on it?
any real limitations with it?
thanks

This is a top-notch computer. It is extremely high-end and flexible. Games, photos, videos, music, you name it. However, you should spend a hundred dollars buying software for video editing.

i dont think ur gonna face any limitions with the duo core 1.6gbz however u are gonna have some problems with the 512mb ram and the 60gb hard drive. I recommend 1gb of ram for any sort of multimedia editing and atleast a 80gb hard drive pereferably a 100gb.

Yes you would be able to do photo editing on it the only limitations would be the 60 gig drive that could fill up quite quickly with video edititing.

yeah its a laptop, thats the main limitations
since laptops are not designed for mass video editting etc..
well it also depends on what lvl of editting since if your doing it a lot i would advise getting the max amount of ram and hard drive size. hope this helps.
