if I decide to let him pass me, normally I let off the gas, but should I also turn off the signal, after he almost parallels my car, turn on signal again?

My boyfriend and I share a car that he was driving in a parking lot last week. He was heading west at about 4:30pm with the sun shining right at him. There is only one entrance and one exit to this lot (not the same) Another car came barelling at him trying to go out the entrance and in an attempt to avoid a head on collision with the other car he had to veer to the left (there were parked cars on his right). What he didn't see was an unmarked and unrailed sunken loading dock immediatley to his left. the two driver's side tires came off the pavement and the car tipped onto its side into the loading dock, 5ft down. Luckily, he was unhurt. However, we are wondering that because the loading dock was unmarked and there was no rail, can we sue the owner of the property?

Where do you change from driving on the right/left side when you drive from England to France and vice versa? I mean it must be lots of trouble driving through the tunnel otherwise!

For more clarification, if the car in front stops way beyond the line at a stop sign, leaving me behind him and stopped where I am supposed to be, if he goes, is it illegal if I go? There are no cars coming either way? Just curious to know that since I stopped at the line where I was supposed to even though there is a car in front of me, arent I following the law?

Well my car has broken down and i live out of town about 40 min. What i am wondering is-well my car is basically a right off the damge is going to cost more than it's even worth and more then what i payed for the stupid thing.Anyways the only other vehicle i can buy right now is a truck-and it has the seating only in the front for three. So my son is only 8mos-i know he is supposed to face backwards until he's one right?Well what do i do?Is he able to go in the truck or is this bad?I personally think it's not okay or legal but my b/f does think it's okay -like if this is all you have to drive sort of thing. So if you know how this works please let me know what to do????thank you so much.A concerned mom.

We need to do something about crazy drivers. They are injuring and killing thousands of innocent people each year. Can someone come up with a game plan here; even if it is just to save one innocent life? I want some ideas so that I can initiate this plan somehow through my brother who is in law enforcement.

I thought that, maybe, people were trying to get around those new 'no-cell-phone-use-while-driving laws'!

When driving in California, will you get a ticket for a passenger not wearing a seatbelt, or will the passenger be ticketed? If you were specifically stopped because a passenger was not wearing a seatbelt, it seems that that driver will be ticketed. On the other hand, if the driver is ticketed for something else (e.g. speeding) and if a passenger was not wearing a seatbelt, the passenger will be ticketed.

Can anyone verify these? Thanks.
