i recently bought a car, and seems to have a problem with the washer pump. i tried to see what was the problem, i've checked the pipes for any blockage and the pump, and i solved the problem but by mistake i but the pipes the wrong way rear/front i took the pump out again put the pipes the right way, but when i put the washer pump back and tried to fill the tank with water, i realised that the water was running out. on a closer check i saw that some how i lost the rubber seal that goes in between the washer pump and the water pump.
Finaly after this boring story :) can anyone tell me where i can buy such a rubber seal ? please. Thanks for your time reading this, and sorry for my english.

My boyfriend got into an accident around V-day in which the airbag deployed. Here's what his dad wants to do:

1. Cut out the airbag and put a metal plate in the steering wheel, then duct tape the hole.

2. Pop a hole in the airbag and shove it back in and duct tape the hole.

How do you suppose we convince him that is not safe and illegal to do? Everything we have told him he says is a crock of crap and refuses to listen.

The sad accident which has claimed the lives of 7 people in a chartered bus going through Atlanta was caused apparently by the driver taking an exit ramp thinking it was a traffic lane. How could that have happened?
He HAD to cross the short dashed lines that indicate an exit and there were numerous signs which said EXIT. See the picture with this link.
Are drivers REALLY that stupid? And I suppose the guy was a CDL (commercial driver's license) holder. Is there some other reason, that I don't see?

Someone asked a similar question but did not get any good answers. My wife is also 4'10" and she needs excellent visibility from all directions. The toughest challenge is that she can never put her heel on the floor while driving. Of course she doesn't want to sit too close to the steering wheel either. She is currently driving a Subaru Forester but she has to sit very close to the steering wheel, which we thought could be dangerous in case the airbag deploys. According to the other gentleman's similar question, an extension paddle would cause some safety concerns. Do you happen to know any year 2007 cars that fit these requirements for short people? Thanks ahead for your valuable answers.

When I lock my doors with the keyless remote it makes a beep noise and the lights blink twice. I can push a button on the keyless remote and the horn blows. Is there anyway I can tell if a alarm is really on my car? It's a 2002 Toyota Camry.

A bus driver picked up an old lady. She sat behind him. After a while she gave him some nuts. Not being rude he accepted and gobbled them up. Every few more stops she gave him more nuts... He kept on eating.

The driver was confused now and asked ' Where are you getting all these nuts from?'

The old lady replies ' I can't chew them. I only like the chocolate around them. '

What tread [sic] is normal on a car? My front tires are 7/32 and my back tires are 9/32 . . . sorry, I know nothing about tires but when to buy them. I looked at both pairs (which I bought at different times) and they both seemed to have a reasonable amount of tread [sic] left . . . please help ^O^

I'm a trucker driver and one thing I've noticed is that some people tend to drive like idiots whenever they're around a large truck. I've seen people do stupid things like purposely get in the way when a truck is trying to change lanes to cutting off a truck just so they can make a turn. You have to ask yourself is it really worth it by putting your life at risk like this. My question for you is since this could potentially cause a much larger accident then if they had only done this in front of another car, should the fines be larger when they do it around an 18 wheeler? B tw, the bulk of the offenders I've seen so far are either young men or people on cell phones.

I have been driving for over 25 years, with no penalties and full no claims bonus and now these lumps of crap have forced me to buy a satnav, which constantly upsets my driving rhythm by pinging when we approach one of the wretched things. I then turn my attention away from driving to search for the thing and look down at the indicator to see how far away I am from it and then I look for indicators of speed limits. With all this going on, I am sure I am a short time away from a safety camera induced accident. They are dangerous and I would like to see civil unrest to smash them to pieces or put graffiti artists to work to cover them up. What do you think ?
