When I lock my doors with the keyless remote it makes a beep noise and the lights blink twice. I can push a button on the keyless remote and the horn blows. Is there anyway I can tell if a alarm is really on my car? It's a 2002 Toyota Camry.

Roll down your driver's window. Close the door and use the remote to lock the car. Wait one minute. Reach in through the window, unlock the door from the inside switch and open the door. If your horn starts blowing and your lights start flashing, you have a factory alarm. If nothing happens, you don't have an alarm.

You probably have a factory alarm.

Turn the engine off and remove the keys. Open the door, but STAY IN THE CAR, close the door. Engage the door locks with the remote. Wait about 1 minute. Then open the door from inside the car. If the alarm sounds, then your "car do have an alarm". (Sorry for the joke.) Use your remote to shut the alarm off.

Kaezoo's suggestion would work too!

That's all there is to it.

Assume it is the red button on your remote to make the horn blows, it is the panic button. Alarm system used to come with a LED light that blinks all the time while the system is armed.
Beside the lights blink you should hear a sound while you arm the system. Yours might be a standard factory key-less remote.

all cars with keyless entry from the factory have an alarm. it honks the horn and flashes the lights when it is set off. it's a simple one at best and cheap to make and install from the factory.
