Q1.) Should all civilian vehicles be governed to 100 mph? This could save fuel and lives, as well as reduce insurance rates.
Q2.) We have the technology, should GPS type satellites be used to automatically send out tickets to people who break speed limits, park illegally or commit other traffic violations? This would free up police for more serious duties, and also save lives and conserve fuel.

due to the recent wave of auto accidents involving teens in your town, the town council is reviewing several ordinances designed to increase safety in the town. One measure would ban anyone under the age of 18 from driving in the dark. Many of the accidnets were at night so the council belvies that this bill wil help decrease the no of accidents . Some people however belives that the measure will not be effective and htat it discriminates against teen drivers

I am 16 years old and I was just in a car accident involving black ice and i hit a telephone poll. For future reference, what should I do to avoid hitting the pole? I hit the breaks (from what people tell me thats a reaction a lot of people make) but the people in the ambulance told me that's one of the worst thing you could do. So does anyone know what to do if I slip on black ice again?

I think that their licences should be taken off them when they turn 75

I can do 180's and reverse 180's on both an automatic and manual transmition..but not 360's..

how do you do that?

if someone can help me id appreciate it?
thanks..

i did a 360 with a Toyota Camry in a huge as parking lot a few times..but..i tried it with a manual and couldn't get it..

when i do 360s on my Camry..i take allot of speed then spin the steering wheel really fast to the right then to the left..until the back wheels kick out and loses traction..then when the car spins half way i use the E- brake to do the full 360..and keep going..

i did it once on the highway..with cars driving by..it was funny..my girlfriend kept screaming like crazy..but now she knows i have good control..and she has fun when i do it..she trusts me

you should try it..

No specific criteria from me this week, just want to see how people answer this question.

Ladies and gentlemen, please keep it relevant to the topic!

I am not having a pop at anyone in particular (for a change!). Just want to get some feedback.

Enjoy.

My question is not a joke.
How do you overtake a horse?.....Pass slow and wide with minimal noise and disturbance for the horse. This is the realistic answer, correct? Drivers have respect for the horses and riders because the horse may spook and cause and accident, correct?

So, the point of the question is now as follows.....

Why dont people treat learners with the same amount of respect and courtesy? If a learner driver gets spooked are they not a danger? Could they not steer erratically or brake to stop suddenly and unpredictably, thus causing a crash? It is impossible to stop a learner from braking harshly in a situation of panic!

So, why do people allow themselves to antagonise and intimidate the learners? Why drive so close? Why overtake dangerously? Why sound the horn if they stall?

You wouldn't to a horse would you? Or would you? Think about it.

(I am NOT having a dig at horse riders at all, just painting a picture and creating a scenario)

I want someone to tell me, on the driving test, do you literally have to use the handbrake every single time you stop, even if your only stopping for 2 seconds on a level surface. I know obviously if your on a hill you use it, but im not 100 percent if im to put it on if i only stop for 2 secs to let a car pass or something, am I to literally always put it on whenever I stop or just use clutch and footbrake?
