I'm sure you can but wouldn't it be better to have a tractor to pull the semi-trailer than to just drive the semi-trailer by itself.

Yes, but don't tell anyone.I was a big rig driver for 20 years and self medicated the whole time . Then when I got clean and sober I told them the truth and pulled my license . After about five years of explaining I was allright they said I could have my license back . ( at that point I didn't want it anymore ) Don't tell other drivers what your on either or everyone will know . Good luck.

you have to have a medical before you get your license, this is a good question to ask your doctor.
