According to a survey (link below) a third of young drivers (out of a thousand polled) say that playing racing games causes them to speed and drive in a more dangerous manner.

I've grown up playing video games, and I still do regularly and I drive, and I've yet to hit 20. I've got views and theories of my own of the matter, and it's probaby not a black-and-white thing, but what do you think?

I've had my permit for a year and now I booked to take my actual driving test Friday morning. Someone please tell me what is on the test so I don't screw up. So far all I know is that at some point I have to make a 3 point turn. If anyone knows the specific order then that would be even better.

I have been practicing driving for about a year now, and about to take the driving test next week. Now, I normally drive along with other people. The cars almost always go above the speed limit on normal roads/freeways etc. So I have to speed up to be fast enough for the car in front and behind me. I always worry about what other people think. I don't wanna be called slow etc. But, yeah. Should I just go for the speed limit or go fast to not make the person behind me mad and think I'm slow X.x Thanks X.x

I was turning and was more than half-way across the street ( in fact on the other side) and was hit. The police said it was my fault but I want to know if I can sue mitsubishi because my 2001 Montero SUV's airbags did not go off. Nobody was hurt but me ( my children were in the car with me). I hit my head on the window but nothing too serious. I need to know if I can legally sue though for no airbags going off. I was hit in the front driver's side tire. It caved in the axle and I was not able too control the car. It completely destroyed the front side.

My wife and I have a difference in opinion here. Is it proper driving technique (for manual OR auto transmission cars) to engage the main/foot brake before starting your car? Here's an example. An automatic car has the hand brake on and is on a flat surface. You get into the car and start the engine. Is it proper to just shift from Park to Drive, dissengage the parking brake, then apply the gas? Or the second choice, press the foot brake first, start the car, disengage the parking brake, and then put the car into gear. Is one safer, better, or what's the general opinion out there?

Let me just begin by stating I am the proud owner of a Chevy Surburban, and let me just admit I am not the best driver there is. However, every time I pass in front of a car like a toyota yaris, they seem to give me some sort of dirty look, like I'm driving a big car, which is my right. What gives these people the right to act so arrogant?

I hope people don't take this question the wrong way. It's not meant to be sexist or biased to anyone. It's for a paper I'm writing.

People make love in the strangest places miles away from the bedroom, so I was just wondering if it could be done atop of a moving vehicle, I ask because the stuntmen could perform pretty close to anything, even if they had to make a movie doing just that.

on the no 10 website to legalise dark visors during daylight hours for motorcyclists?
They are a damn sight safer to wear than a clear visor when the sun is out and there is a lot of glare. And also safer than sunglasses, if you have a crash the last thing you want is broken glass and wire frames less than an inch from your eyes.
If enough people sign, will it make a difference?

Wal-Mart suckered me into buying some deer whistles for my car. They are supposed to emit a sound that will warn deer that I'm coming. Do these things really work?

Hello, we need to tow my girlfriends car to the garage... it's 20 miles and we have a choice of roads - a hilly A road, with lots of roundabouts, junctions and traffic lights or a flat, direct motorway route. I've bought a decent tow-pole for the job and we plan to make the trip in the middle of the night.

Is it ok for one car to tow another on the motorway?

I was in a accident where I slid into the rear end of someone I was going about 35 mph. and the air bags did not deploy and my seat belt did not lock up, so unfourtantly I ended up hitting the stearing wheel and the dashboard, that hurt! Was wondering if any one could tell me why that might happen and what I could do to fix the problem. I bought the car used and don't know for sure that it even has the airbags in it, though they are suposed to be there. The car is in the body shop right now and I was wondering if they could fix the problem with the seat belt?

I'm talking abut Police check points! I think it's to bring in more revenue. But on the local news, they say the police are making sure people are wearing their seat belts. I wish i was dumb enough to believe that.
