If you feel that you are being denied a right in some way please give details. Alternatively justify the use of a mobile phone when driving a car. Should devices be fitted compulsorily to cars to make it impossible to use mobile phones by jammimg the microwave transmission and reception?

The Bureau of Justice Statistics doesn't keep figures for the number of carjackings that result in murder but with $6.1 billion being spent on prevention programs and, apparently, not tackling the problem I would like to argue that changing your driving position on the road from right to left is likely to save lives.

In the UK we drive on the left because we used to get robbed by highway men in the good old days of horse drawn coaches, now with our right hand drive cars, we are (in theory) better able to defend ourselves with a concealed weapon as most of us are right handed (although gun ownership is frowned upon in the UK) mainly due to the fear the upper classes have that we will get sick of our taxes being spent on their friends loft conversions.

i have been doing my lessons sooo long now, since jan 2006. (i know, pathetic) i told my driving instructor not to let me apply for my test untill he thought i was 100% ready. but now he is only picking on the tiniest little faults. a few friends have told me he might be trying to get as much money out of me as he can now before i have my test, as he tells me i am a perfect driver apart from these very minor faults which are just that i sometimes change gear a bit late or sometimes park too far away from the kerb. should i just put in for my test or should i carry on having more lessons? i do feel i am ready.

if a red light is ahead of you, why the hell are you driving 50miles per hour and getting mad at me for slowing down, trying to preserve my brakes? do drivers have any brains anymore?

I'm thinking of getting a Camry and I currently have an SUV. Now, I live in the south where everyone and their uncle drive big trucks and lot'sa people have cattleguards on the front of their big trucks. Is a Camry a good idea? We don't have children yet. Is there a website that can give me an idea of safe vehicles? Thanks :o)

I take great care to drive always at or below the speed limit regardless of traffic conditions. By acting as a rolling traffic block I feel that I am contributing to road safety by reducing the number of people who drive too fast. Please answer in detail and list your reasons for your opinion. Beware of one word or derogatory answers they will not be popular.

This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by remote button. Should you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home.

If some one has access to the spare remote have them telephone you on your cell phone.

Hold your (or anyone's) cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person press the unlock button, hold it near the phone.

Your car will unlock. I tried it and it works. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object.

Did you know that?

After the recent change in law about the use of mobile phone when driving what are your views on the police using their personal radio`s when they are behind the wheel of a car?? I know some may say that they have done a driving course, but they are not in full control of the vehicle and cannot be concentrating on the road anymore than someone using a mobile.
