I tried everything to calm me but I was still a bag of nerves, I even forgot the letters of the alphabet when trying to read the number plate. I have tried Kalms, Rescue Remedy and it never worked. What should I do for next time. I am ready for my test so it isn't that, there is many times my instructor says, "if this was your test, you would have passed", which really annoys me. HELP.

What sorts of things should they test them on? I don't care if they can paralell park, I think they should definitely check their eye sight, reaction abilities, and find some way to test their driving judgment before letting some "questionable" seniors back out on the road. Mistaking the gas for the break?!? How dangerous is that??? A lot of people say that it will rob them of their independence....but don't you think that public safety is more important than independence? If they are safe to drive then they shouldn't have anything to worry about right?

I feel that driving tests should be far stricter and test people more.

The better you are at driving, the higher level license you should receive.

Higher levels should allow you to purchase more powerful cars and also offer higher speed limits for those drivers.

What are your thoughts?

It is my understanding tha a 30mph limit has to have street lights at a certain distance from each other. Is this correct, and if so, what is that distance?

I have a 2001 Mercury Sable w/ automatic door locks that lock as soon as the car is in motion. Well lately I'm beginning to think their possessed lol. Someone times they don't lock now, and if you push the lock button as you're riding along, they un-lock, and the "door ajar" light stays on. The other night, I came home after they had been acting up, and the dome light wouldn't go off. I had to go drive the car around the block again HOPING when I got back they would go off which they did. Anyone got any answers on what EXACTLY is going wrong with my car? Thanks!

Rail Crash - Points.
It would appear that the nuts came loose and fell off to make the points inefective.
In the old days the first nut is installed then the lock nut then a spit pin could be fitted, next a metal wire and tag is fitted when the job is complete.
Surely a system like this could be introduced to ensure that the nuts cannot come off and that the complete job can be checked periodically.
Hope this is helpful.

My school is putting me on a field trip and dropping me off of the school at 12AM (MIDNIGHT). I have no ride home and can't hitch a ride from my friends (as of right now). What should be my choice (not my parents since they're sleeping and they'll get grumpy)?

Should I call the police? LOL (no buses at midnight :[)

And oh yeah, I got no money for taxi :\

I've heard that seatbelts have caused lots of injuries. I'm writing a paper about why seatbelt laws are wrong and I was wondering if there's any statistics on a website about the amount of injuries that were caused by seatbelts? Thanks!!!!

I haven't seen the car yet, so I might be concerned over nothing. My boyfriend and I both had Ford Rangers, but when we found out we were expecting we sold one of them and have now acquired a 1988 Subaru Justy. Should I be concerned about finding a car seat that will fit in the back seat? I know this isn't the best family car on the market, but it was the best value (free and putting in a motor from a wrecker's for $200). Thanks in advance!
