I have a 2001 Mercury Sable w/ automatic door locks that lock as soon as the car is in motion. Well lately I'm beginning to think their possessed lol. Someone times they don't lock now, and if you push the lock button as you're riding along, they un-lock, and the "door ajar" light stays on. The other night, I came home after they had been acting up, and the dome light wouldn't go off. I had to go drive the car around the block again HOPING when I got back they would go off which they did. Anyone got any answers on what EXACTLY is going wrong with my car? Thanks!

Well, from the best I can tell.there isn't a "door switch" on this in the jam of the door like most cars to spray WD 40 on.

For the door switch...look for a "pin" sticking out of the door jamb on the hinged side of the door. You should be able to spray the WD40 around that pin. If that doesn't work take your car to a reputable shop.
