If an officer gets distracted and is speeding, without responding to an emergency, he will indeed be warned about it. If it becomes an ongoing problem, he will find he no longer works in the capacity of a law enforcement person.
Internal affairs takes such things quite seriously.

It won't happen without an order from dispatch, because a speeding police car could very well be on a silent call. Imagine your home is invaded, and the responding silent car is pulled over, and you are beaten during the delay. How impressed would you be? Now if, indeed, there is an officer abusing the priviledge, it will show up sooner or later, and he/she will end up on a desk or directing traffic.

they Can but they Don't nor will they ever do that unless it's not a cop driving the car i.e. a stolen squad car.. otherwise no. cops don't arrest cops for speeding or even ticket them.. because they have a badge, some of them think they're above the law and can do whatever they want.

I wish I could pull over some of the cops around here. They think they own the road sometimes even when they are not trying to get to an emergency.

Can, but don't. Even if they do by accident, if the speeding cop shows his police badge the other cop will let him go.

I don't think so......what if the other police car was just trying to get to a crime-scene or something and he needed to get there really fast?
On the other hand, it could've been a hijacked police car...

I have always wondered that............well, probably not, well, it depends i think. If the other police officer is Going to a crime scene, then no. If he is just patrolling, then he might warn them. Good Luck!

Yes, but if they are off the job and speeding. Other wise I would imagine they would call it over on the radio and say, (name) your speeding.
